Time is
part of the recipe.

Stone-milled Brazilian flours with a known origin. A long, natural fermentation. We make our bread without additives or preservatives, giving each dough the time it needs.

From crust to crumb, something to savour. At our table or yours.

Good food begins
with good choices.

Fernanda, Amata’s co-founder, is a chef, baker and health coach. She trained in Gastronomy in Brasília and has a close connection to the ingredients of the Cerrado. She continued her training in New York at the Natural Gourmet Institute, PlantLab and the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. She brings more than ten years of experience in natural cooking.

That perspective guides our kitchen: respecting ingredients, knowing where they come from and bringing care and the pleasure of good food to the table.

Ingredients with a story.

We choose for flavour, for how things are grown and made, and for the people behind them.

From our region
Coconut oil from Paraíso Verde, free-range eggs from Matinha and produce from local farmers.
Artisan traditions
Brazilian cheeses and food from small producers who take pride in their craft.
From the land to the table
Respect for the land, the people who grow our food and everyone who sits at our table.

Bread brings us in.
People make it home.

Fernanda brings her perspective from the kitchen. Mike brings a life in music, cultural travel and bringing people together around the world. Together, they made Amata a home for sharing food, culture and good conversation.
